NADWC 2011

LBE Description
On a Cross-hatched field Beaver Passant on Banner with motto THE NORTH AMERICAN DISCWORLD CONVENTION bordered by 20 Dexter and 11 Sinister above the wording LBE bordered by wording Alius dies Dexter and Alius aeratus Sinister.

Roughly translated the phrase "Alius dies, Alius aeratus" means !"Another day, Another Dollar"

Notes
Of a total 1000 LBEs, 1 in 20 will contain the Red Madison label which is otherwise exclusive to the commemorative covers produced for sale by the NADWCON committee at the convention itself. There’s also the chance to win one of 25 whole sheets each of Black Madisons and Red Madisons as well as free LBE tickets and a coveted and super-rare Blue Triangle Sport.

We have made the decision to make 300 available online on Tuesday 5th July before we take to the skies, and they will go on sale in two batches of 150 at 10.00am and 6.00pm BST for dispatch on Friday the 8th when the convention begins. After season tickets have been allocated to, any LBEs that we don’t sell at the convention will be released 'pon our return or shortly after - we’ll be sure to keep you posted!

Of the 700 taken to America all but 193 were unsold and returned to the shop. AN announcement was made concerning the sale of these LBEs. "Now we are pleased to offer the remaining 193 commemorative LBEs (little brown envelopes full of assorted current Discworld stamps with a chance of specials and rarities) that travelled with us to the second North American Discworld Convention in Wisconsin. "
I have nicknamed the 192 LBEs the Bilbow Baggins or the Little Bilbow Envelopes because they have been there and back again.
