Cover Description
Features a sketch of Stanley Gibbons facing a photograph of the first shop surmounted by the Cape Blue Triangle above the wording "STANLEY GIBBONS 150 Years of excellence and expertise", an octagonal frame containing the initials SG and 150 in red and the wording "STANLEY GOBBONS 399 STRAND LONDON WC2R 0LX" in red.
At the bottom is a rounded frame in red containing the issue number of 1,500.
The envelope bears two Second Class Royal Mail stamps commemorating the 80th Birthday of the Queen cancelled by the special Stanley Gibbons Anniversary frank. It also bears a Cinderella stamp with a portrait of Stanley Gibbons designed by Bernard Pearson and cancelled by a Stanley Gibbons Commemorative Cover frank wit the date III MMVI.
